MOTORISED BLINDS
We fit in Bedford, Luton, Milton Keynes, Northampton, and St Neots

Motorised Blinds

No more running around the room to adjust your blinds and close the curtains! Take care of television glare or create your preferred ambience by operating your motorised blinds from the comfort of your armchair or bed.

If you’re looking for more information about our quality motorised blinds, please view our home automation page.

Concorde Blinds can motorise virtually all of our products including Roller, Duette, Duo Roll, Roman, Venetian and even Curtains. Meaning that we can provide different products throughout your home that can all be part of one Home Automation system.

Motorised blinds require 2 things, power and control. Power can come from one of 2 places, either mains powered where the blind is essentially plugged in to a socket or fused spur. Alternatively, this power can come from a rechargeable battery – this tends to be the more common power source, especially for new build homes as there is no need for any wiring or power cables running to the blinds.

Battery powered motorised blinds are the perfect solution for the new build home. Instantly add motorised blinds to your windows and doors that are installed just like a manually operated blind. The battery packs are Li-Ion just like your smart phone or tablet, the difference being that they only need charging once per year (dependant on use and size of product). You can also opt for a solar panel to remove the need for charging the blind, this is ideal for blinds in hard to reach areas.

All motorised blinds and curtains are operated by remote control as standard, this can be an individual remote control per blind, or a multi-channel remote that can operate multiple blinds. With the addition of a smart home hub your motorised blinds can also be operated by phone, tablet and smart speaker. With this addition you can set scenes, scenarios and have the blinds set to raise/lower at specific times.

Cordless automatic blinds are safe for both children and pets, providing you with the peace of mind that no accidents can happen with your blinds when your back is turned.

Of course, alongside enhanced safety, automatic blinds also provide an extra layer of comfort, luxury and security to your home, allowing you to sit back and relax, changing the position of your blinds without having to instruct them.

Features of Motorised Blinds:
